ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，美国众议院周三以 312-112 的投票结果通过了《国防授权法案》(NDAA)，但该法案未包含此前承诺的央行数字货币 (CBDC) 禁令，引发共和党强硬派不满。
共和党众议员 Keith Self 在 X 平台发文称，“保守派被明确承诺会在 NDAA 中包含强有力的反央行数字货币语言，但这一承诺被违背了。”Self 曾在周二提交修正案要求加入 CBDC 禁令，但该修正案未能推进且未在众议院进行投票。今年 7 月，众议院共和党领导层曾与党内强硬派达成协议，承诺在国防支出法案中加入 CBDC 禁令，以换取后者对三项加密货币法案的支持。众议员 Marjorie Taylor Greene 也批评众议院议长 Mike Johnson 未履行承诺。该法案现已送交参议院，力争在年底前通过。Self 表示将在下一个必须通过的法案中继续争取 CBDC 禁令。
