平谷区府前街，一处绵延数十米的“花木滨河”地景景观亮相了。漂亮的地景作品，是用修剪下的桃枝制成的。

街道的园艺师黄晋涛、于运乐，一手设计了这些地景艺术品。“平谷是大桃之乡，每年修剪下来的桃枝数量不少，以往大多作为园林废弃物处理。”黄晋涛说，他们琢磨着把这些本土废料变废为宝，打造有地域特色的景观。

在两位园艺师的带领下，滨河街道志愿者踊跃参与，一起对桃枝作筛选分拣、清洗消毒，而后进行艺术化构思、创意化拼接。一根根桃枝历经多道工序，变为兼具观赏性与生态价值的地景景观。
