韩国财政部长具润哲周四表示，韩国将于明年开始面向散户发行新的3年期国债，以扩大政府债券市场的投资者基础，配合让韩国被纳入一个重要的全球政府债券指数的计划。
具润哲在第12届韩国国债会议上通过视频讲话发表了上述计划。他表示，韩国国债市场明年4月份被纳入富时罗素管理的世界国债指数（WGBI），这将为国债市场的增长奠定基础。
他说，为了吸引外国投资，韩国将为个人投资者新推出3年期国债，并为政府债券提供定期利息，同时促进对财政票据和韩元计价的外汇债券等短期债券的需求。
韩国政府还将设立专门的市场动向监测小组，制定稳定债券市场和管理潜在风险的方案。
根据韩国财政部的数据，明年的国债发行总额上限为225.7万亿韩元（1532亿美元），其中约55-60%的债券将在上半年发行。
韩国财政部补充说，在发行期限上，大约35%的债券将是2年期和3年期债券，30%将是5至10年期债券，20至50年期债券将占35%。
