Altair Minerals (ASX:ALR) found three target areas displaying key D2 deformation structures, which are critical for emplacing gold mineralization, following completion of an initial structural study at the South Oko prospect in Guyana, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The three key structural zones identified are the South Oko E1 and W1 targets, the S1 target, and the S3 target, the filing said.

The study will be followed up with validation mapping and ground magnetics, gradient induced-polarization and pole-dipole geophysical surveys, starting in January 2026, per the filing.

Shares fell 4% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
