路透河内12月15日 - 越南石油公司（Petrovietnam Power POW.HM）周一表示，越南首批两家完全使用液化天然气的发电厂已开始商业运营。
Petrovietnam Power公司在一份声明中说，位于越南南部同奈省的Nhon Trach 3号和Nhon Trach 4号电厂总发电量 为1.62千兆瓦，每年 可发电 90亿千瓦时。
越南计划在 2030 年前建成总装机容量为 22.4 千兆瓦的 13 座液化天然气发电厂，这两座发电厂是其中的首批发电厂，但其他发电厂的开发工作已面临延误。
