AIC Mines Extends Queensland Deposit; Shares Down 4%

AIC Mines (ASX:A1M) extended the Jericho deposit in Queensland, finding new mineralization 250 meters below existing resources in the J1 lens following step-out drilling, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling at the deposit tested the J1 and J2 lenses down-plunge and at depth, with results including five meters grading 1.3% copper, 0.1 grams per tonne grade of gold and 1.6 g/t grade of silver from 740 meters as well as 3.6 meters grading 2.7% copper, 0.4 g/t grade of gold and 2.7 g/t grade of silver from 751 meters, the filing said.

Remaining assays are expected in the January 2026 quarter, per the filing.

Shares fell nearly 4% in afternoon trade on Tuesday.
