BlockBeats 消息，12 月 16 日，Moonrock Capital 创始人 Simon Dedic 于 X 发文评价 Circle 收购 Axelar 表示：“又一场收购，又一起 RUG。Circle 收购 Axelar，却明确排除基金会和 AXL 代币，这简直是犯罪行为。这在法律上可能不算违法，但在道德上完全不可接受。如果你是一个代币发行的创始人：要么把它当作股权对待，要么干脆别做。
此前消息，Circle 宣布收购 Axelar 的初始开发团队 Interop Labs，但 Axelar Network、Axelar Foundation 和 AXL 代币不在此次收购范围内。
