Deccan Gold's Associate Completes Trial Runs of Jonnagiri Gold Project; Shares Up 5%

Deccan Gold Mines (BOM:512068) said its associate company Geomysore has completed trial runs of the full processing circuit at the Jonnagiri Gold Project in Andhra Pradesh, India, according to an Indian stock exchange filing on Monday.

Deccan Gold's shares were up nearly 5% in Tuesday's trade.

The trials confirmed plant performance in line with feasibility parameters, and resulted in the production of about 40 kilograms of doré, the filing said. The project is now moving into the commercial production phase, with refined gold to be produced going forward, it added.

Geomysore is an associate of Deccan Gold Mines, in which the company holds a 27% stake, according to the filing.
