Pacific Lime Partners With World Bank Member for Papua New Guinea Project; Shares Rise 4%

Pacific Lime and Cement (ASX:PLA) partnered with International Finance Corporation (IFC) to receive advisory support for its phase two Central Cement project in Papua New Guinea, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The IFC will recommend improvements to the project's environmental and social management system to meet its standards and receive funding, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
