Gorilla Gold Mines Posts 900% Increase in Mineral Resource for Western Australia Project; Shares Up 9%

Gorilla Gold Mines (ASX:GG8) reported a 900% increase in mineral resource for its Comet Vale project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The mineral resource estimate now stands at 7.3 million tonnes at 3.7 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 860,000 ounces of contained gold, the filing said.
Total group resources is now at 15.4 million tonnes at 4 g/t grade of gold for 2 million ounces, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 9% in afternoon trade Monday.
