12月16日，美国激光雷达传感器制造商Luminar(LAZR.US)周一暴跌近61%后，夜盘再跌超13%，报0.306美元。
消息面上，Luminar Technologies申请第11章破产保护。根据破产文件，Luminar申报资产介于1亿至5亿美元之间，负债则高达5亿至10亿美元。Luminar已同意以 1.1 亿美元现金，将子公司Luminar半导体出售给量子运算公司(Quantum Computing)，但仍须在法院监督的出售流程中接受是否有更高或更优条件的出价。
今年5月，公司创办人Austin Russell因涉及商业行为与道德规范调查，突然辞去首席执行官职务。营运层面上，Luminar 今年已第二度裁员，累计裁员约25%，首席财务官离职，多项贷款出现违约情形，美国证券交易委员会(SEC)亦对公司展开调查。公司业务面临的最大冲击则来自于11月沃尔沃取消一项已执行五年的合作合约。沃尔沃为Luminar的早期支持者，也是今年最大的客户。
