BRP has appointed Denis Le Vot as its new chief executive, succeeding José Boisjoli, who will retire after more than two decades at the helm.
Le Vot brings over 30 years of experience to the Canadian leisure craft manufacturer, most recently as executive vice president and chief executive officer of the Dacia Brand.
Before that, he was senior VP of the light commercial vehicles business unit of the Alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, and became a member of Renault Group's management committee.
He will succeed Boisjoli in the role on Feb. 1, 2026, to lead the Valcourt, Quebec-based company that makes the Ski-Doo and Sea-Doo snowmobiles and jet skis. In late May, the company had announced that Boisjoli would retire by the end of the fiscal year after 22 years leading the company.
Additionally, BRP has appointed Pierre Beaudoin to the role of chair of the board, effective Feb. 1 as well, while Barbara Samardzich will remain lead independent director of the board.
