** Man Wah Holdings 1999.HK jumps 8% to HK$4.75; set for biggest one-day pct gain since February 14
** Stock hits highest since December 8
** Sofas and ancillary products maker's unit agrees to buy 100% of U.S. furniture maker Gainline Recline Intermediate Corp for $58.7 mln, inclusive of debt
** Says Group's manufacturing footprint will be expanded to U.S. to address opportunities, challenges arising from changes in international trade environment
** YTD, stock down 1.3%
