Boab Metals Exercises Option to Acquire JV Partner's Stake in Western Australia Project

Boab Metals (ASX:BML) exercised its option to acquire Yuguang Australia's 25% interest in the Sorby Hills project in Western Australia for AU$12.5 million, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

A deferred consideration of AU$5.5 million and AU$5 million will also be paid after the start of concentrate production, the filing said.

Completion of the transaction is expected to take place in January 2026, with first production anticipated in the second half of 2027, per the filing.
