Trek Metals Says US-Based Company Exercises Option to Acquire Western Australia Project

Trek Metals (ASX:TKM) said US-based Advanced Energy Fuels exercised its option to acquire the company's Hendeka-South Woodie Woodie project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Advanced Energy Fuels is undertaking a reverse takeover of Cavalry Capital to list on the TSX Venture Exchange as AE Fuels, the filing said.
Once the transaction is settled, Trek Metals will receive AU$450,000 in cash and hold a total of 8 million shares in AE Fuels, representing about 19.31% of its undiluted ordinary shares.
Proceeds will be allocated to the gold and manganese targets at the Christmas Creek project in Western Australia, per the filing.
