BUZZ-Australian gold stocks fall as bullion edges lower
** Shares of Australia's gold sub-index .AXGD fall as much as 1.4%, on track to record its second straight session of losses, if trend holds
** Sub-index has lost 0.6% so far in the week
** Bullion prices edged lower overnight as markets digested softer-than-expected U.S. inflation data GOL/
** Sector majors Northern Star Resources NST.AX and Evolution MiningEVN.AX fall as much as 3.7% and 1.4%, respectively
** Session's losses trim sub-index's YTD gains to 159.7%
