　　哈塞特周五在福克斯商业频道表示，“据我们所知，以三个月移动平均来看，目前核心通胀基本处于或低于目标水平”。

　　他还称：“我预计通胀数据将维持在当前水平”。

　　哈塞特同时表示，美联储的决策必须以数据为依据。“现在就对6月或7月的利率水平作出承诺是不明智的”。
