道富集团表示，今年早些时候美元下跌的主要原因在于美国投资者对海外投资削减外汇对冲，而不在于全球投资者对美国投资组合提高对冲比例。
“更明显的活动来自美国国内投资者调整其海外对冲比例，”State Street Markets全球外汇销售和交易主管Chris Pizzotti周三在纽约联邦储备银行外汇市场结构会议上表示。
“我们估算，美国国内投资者已将其对冲比例减半”，这实际上促成美元走弱。“解放日带来的不确定性仍存，自然也引发了关于去风险化的讨论。”
