韩国政府周四表示，计划从明年2月开始，将从英伟达公司采购的1万多块图形处理器（GPU）分配给中小企业、创业公司、学术机构和国家人工智能（AI）项目，这是韩国政府培育强大的国内人工智能生态系统的更广泛战略的一部分。
韩国政府最近斥资1.4万亿韩元（约9.472亿美元）从英伟达购买了约1万块GPU，这是到2030年购买5万块GPU计划的第一阶段。
这些GPU将被配置为大规模集群，以支持AI模型训练和推理的高速计算。
工业界、学术界和研究机构的人工智能开发项目申请将在1月28日之前在线接受，每个项目最多支持256个H200 GPU或128个B200 GPU。
韩国政府补充说，计划稍后交付的约6000块B200 GPU将分配给一项全国性的倡议，以开发本土人工智能基础模型。
此前，英伟达CEO黄仁勋在10月底宣布，该公司将与韩国政府和三星电子等主要企业合作，在韩国部署26万块GPU，以建立大规模的人工智能工厂。
根据该计划，韩国政府将使用5万多块GPU，建设国家主权AI平台，三星电子、SK集团、现代汽车集团将各获得5万多块GPU。Naver公司将得到6万块。
