Cementos Pacasmayo (CPAC) said Tuesday that a Swiss company, Holcim, has signed an agreement to acquire Inversiones Aspi from the Hochschild Group, which controls 50.01% in Cementos.

Shares of Cementos surged 47% as intraday trading volume advanced to nearly 3.01 million from a daily average of over 17,000.

B. Riley Financial (RILY) shares soared 37% amid heavy trading after the company reported overnight a swing to Q2 earnings amid a year-over-year increase in revenue.

Intraday trading volume climbed to more than 9.88 million shares from a daily average of around 699,000.

Monte Rosa Therapeutics (GLUE) said Tuesday that interim data from its ongoing phase 1/2 study of its investigational drug MRT-2359 combined with enzalutamide showed a 64% overall disease control rate in certain patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

Wedbush lifted Monte Rosa's price target to $26 from $19 while maintaining the shares' outperform rating

Shares of Monte Rosa jumped 9.8%, with intraday trading volume at over 1.50 million compared with a daily average of about 1.05 million.
