根据知情消息人士，美联储已通知花旗集团表示，已经将要求花旗修补交易风险管理缺失的正式通知关闭，这是改善监管与控制缺失的重大进展，相关问题曾令花旗困扰不已。根据媒体先前报道，美联储在2023年底向花旗发出通知，要求解决三项所谓的 “需要立即关注的事项”（Matters Requiring Immediate Attention，MRIA），指出花旗存在的问题，包括如何计算与管理交易伙伴的风险，以及如何预留资本，以缓冲这些交易的潜在损失。消息人士表示，这些通知现已终止。花旗和负责监管大型银行的美联储理事会官员不予置评。
