智通财经APP获悉，周三，Frontier Group(ULCC.US)涨超7.5%，Spirit Aviation Holdings与该公司之间的合并谈判已重新启动，相关交易最早可能在今年年底前对外宣布。
尽管双方过去曾两度尝试合并但均未成功，市场认为，Spirit与Frontier的整合逻辑依然清晰。作为美国两家主要的超低成本航空公司，若成功合并，有望打造一家在休闲航空市场具备更大规模优势的航空运营商，通过提升机队与航线的利用效率，并在燃油、维修及分销等方面获得更强的成本议价能力，从而改善整体盈利能力。
对Frontier而言，以相对低廉的估值收购Spirit的空客窄体机队及其航线网络，被视为加速公司扩张的重要机遇。Spirit目前的资产状况被市场认为处于“困境估值”区间，这也为潜在收购方提供了更具吸引力的切入点。
投资者同时关注捷蓝航空(JBLU.US)是否会对此作出回应。捷蓝航空曾在2022年对Spirit发起敌意收购，但最终因反垄断问题被美国联邦法官否决，该交易未能成行。
