消息面上，12月7日起，柬泰边境地区再次爆发激烈冲突。12月16日，中国驻柬埔寨大使馆再次提醒靠近柬泰边境的中国公民加强安全防范。12月18日外交部亚洲事务特使将再次赴柬埔寨、泰国，穿梭调停柬泰边境冲突。
公开资料显示，金界控股为柬埔寨目前最大的博彩业和酒店业运营企业。值得注意的是，金界控股近期公布，与大股东终止金界三期项目融资协议，没收3.16亿美元计入储备金。尽管已签订相互终止契约，仍计划继续开展Naga3项目，将评估Naga3的余下发展计划，如有需要，探索其他资金渠道。
