12月18日金融一线消息，海南自贸港今日正式迈入全岛封关运作新阶段。作为首家进驻海南自贸港的国际性银行，汇丰银行（中国）有限公司行长兼行政总裁王云峰指出：“海南自由贸易港全岛封关运作，是我国坚定不移扩大高水平对外开放、推动建设开放型世界经济的标志性举措，也是自贸港建设的重要里程碑。作为中国高水平开放的‘试验田’，海南自贸港的发展取得了举世瞩目的成绩，尤其是在对接国际规则，扩大制度型开放层面。封关运作后，其贸易投资自由化便利化水平将进一步提升，金融服务的创新和开放力度也有望实现更大突破，特别是在与海外市场的互联互通等领域。”
