Lion Selection Group (ASX:LSX) said its unlisted investment Plutonic, in which it holds a 41% interest, received cultural heritage clearances from the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority at the Champion project tenure in the Northern Territory, covering the Ridonkulous, I'm Not A Vampire, Loki North, and Perseverance prospects where six drill holes are planned, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Plutonic also received mining environmental license approvals from the Northern Territory government. The drilling program is expected to begin in April or May 2026, depending on the prevailing weather conditions.
Plutonic made an additional tenement application covering an area to the south of the existing tenure at the Georgetown project in Queensland. The application has been given "First Priority" status, per the filing.
