Seven Elements Investment (HKG:1660) agreed to acquire asset management firm Legend Arb Advisors for up to HK$10 million, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Tuesday.
Shares of the machinery leasing firm gained over 2% in morning trade Wednesday.
Seven Elements said the acquisition would provide a "low investment cost entry point" for the firm to enter the financial services industry.
