该研究指出，预测市场的优势在于它们汇集了众多交易者基于经济激励的多样化信息，形成了一种“群体智慧”效应，从而对变化的环境能做出更灵敏的反应。这些发现表明，基于市场的预测可以成为机构决策者宝贵的补充性工具，尤其是在不确定性较高的时期。
Kalshi 通过对比其平台上的通胀预测与华尔街共识预期发现，基于市场的交易者在 25 个月的观察期内，预测准确性高于传统经济学家和分析师，这一优势在经济波动期间尤其显著。
