Paramount Skydance Corp．修改了对华纳兄弟探索的收购要约，包括由甲骨文公司董事长拉里·埃里森提供个人财务担保，以期击败奈飞公司的竞争性报价。
根据周一发布的声明，全球富豪之一埃里森同意为Paramount拟收购华纳兄弟的交易提供404亿美元股权融资的不可撤销个人担保。埃里森（其子大卫·埃里森现任Paramount首席执行官）同意在交易完成前不撤销埃里森家族信托，也不进行不利于该信托的资产转移。Paramount每股30美元的收购报价维持不变。
Paramount确认埃里森家族信托持有约11.6亿股甲骨文普通股，且该信托所有重大负债均已公开披露。Paramount同时提议将监管反向终止费从50亿美元提高至58亿美元。
Paramount在声明中表示，“为满足华纳兄弟在过渡期运营中对’灵活性’的需求，修订后的合并协议将进一步提升华纳兄弟在债务再融资交易、陈述保证及过渡期运营契约方面的灵活性。”
