BCI Minerals (ASX:BCI) said it secured all primary approvals from the governments of Australia and Western Australia to allow for the offshore placement of material generated from its dredging strategy at the Cape Preston West Port for the Mardie salt operation, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The approvals relate to the dredging of the berth pocket and navigation channel.

It expects to begin dredging in April 2026, subject to receipt of certain remaining approvals and the finalization of arrangements with its dredging contractor. It is targeting "first salt on ship" during the December 2026 quarter.
