ChainCatcher 消息，加纳方面周一宣布，议会已通过《虚拟资产服务提供商法案》。根据该法案，凡从事数字资产相关业务的个人或机构，需依据业务性质向加纳央行或证券交易委员会注册并接受监管。
加纳央行行长 Johnson Asiama 表示，该法案为虚拟资产行业的许可与监管奠定了基础，确保新兴活动被纳入清晰、可问责且治理完善的框架之内。他此前在一次演讲中还指出，法案的通过意味着个人因交易加密货币而被逮捕的情况将不再发生，新框架的目标是对相关风险进行有效管理。
数据显示，加纳在 2023 年 7 月至 2024 年 6 月期间处理的加密货币交易规模约为 30 亿美元，该国约 17% 的成年人被认为使用过加密资产。加纳计划在 2026 年重点推动加密技术在支付、贸易融资、外汇结算及市场基础设施等领域的应用，以支持跨境商业活动，其中包括对以黄金为支撑的稳定币等资产支持型数字结算工具进行“有针对性的探索”。
