0221 GMT - Indonesian lenders' loan growth is likely to improve next year, say Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia analysts in a note. They cite three main factors--declining interest rates, increased government-subsidized lending, and a village cooperative program--which are likely to have a trickle-down effect on the economy. Deposit growth for banks outpaced their loan growth in November, which indicates higher liquidity, the analysts note. This liquidity could support stronger loan demand in 2026, they add. Maybank's sector picks in order of preference are Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Central Asia, Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank Mandiri (Persero) and Bank Negara Indonesia. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
