Treasury Wine Estates Says Former Consumer Goods Executive, Investment Firm Take Up 5% Stake, Shares Jump 7%

Treasury Wine Estates (ASX:TWE) said Platin, a Luxembourg-based investment company, and former consumer goods executive Olivier Goudet acquired 41 million shares in the firm, equivalent to a 5.05% stake, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Goudet is the ultimate beneficial owner and controller of Platin.
Treasury Wine's shares jumped 7% in recent trading on Wednesday.
