据英国广播公司$(BBC)$报道，亚马逊一位高管表示，这家美国科技巨头阻止了1,800多份疑似朝鲜特工的求职申请。
亚马逊首席安全官斯蒂芬·施密特（Stephen Schmidt）在领英（LinkedIn）的一篇帖子中表示，朝鲜人试图使用被盗或假身份申请远程IT工作。
“他们的目标通常很简单：找到工作，拿到报酬，然后把工资汇回以资助该政权的武器计划。”他说，并称这种趋势很可能正在整个行业大规模发生，尤其是在美国。
美国和韩国当局已发出警告，称平壤的特工正在实施网络诈骗。施密特在他的帖子中表示，过去一年，亚马逊收到的来自朝鲜的求职申请增加了近三分之一。
