IT之家 12 月 26 日消息，综合外媒 CBS 和 ABC 报道，美国科罗拉多州当地时间本月 20 日一架比奇超级空中国王飞机在飞行途中遭遇失压，飞行员因此激活了佳明开发的 Garmin Autoland 飞机自动着陆系统。

这是该系统首次在真实场景中启用，最终这架飞机成功在位于该州布鲁姆菲尔德市的落基山大都会机场着陆，机组人员（本次飞行无乘客）都安然无恙。
根据佳明官方介绍，Garmin Autoland 系统一旦启动后会立即规划出一条去往较适合着陆的机场和跑道的飞行路线，同时避开地形和恶劣天气干扰，启动并自动着陆。
