晨报讯（记者 王温萍 通讯员 施珮琪）12月24日，伴随“MSC SIXIN”轮鸣笛起吊，标志着地中海航运2025年在厦门港吞吐量历史性突破100万标箱。本次承接作业的“MSC SIXIN”轮，船长399.7米，载重超20万吨，是全球集装箱船舶大型化、集约化发展的代表。
地中海航运(MSC)是全球运力排名第一的集装箱航运公司，总部位于瑞士日内瓦。目前，地中海航运在厦门港布局11条航线，覆盖欧洲、美东、南美、中东等重要市场，为福建及周边地区企业架起高效便捷的“出海桥梁”。
此次地中海航运在厦门港年度吞吐量突破100万标箱，接近于厦门港全年集装箱吞吐量的十分之一。这不仅体现了地中海航运对厦门港区位优势和综合服务能力的高度认可，也彰显了厦门港作为东南国际航运中心的强大实力。
