凤凰网科技讯 12月26日，京东物流无人机在沙特完成海外首次试飞，这也是其首次在海外运用无人机开展货物运输。
此次试飞采用电动垂起固定翼无人机，可垂直起降并自动收起旋翼，最高载重10公斤，将15公里直线距离的配送任务从传统车辆的1小时以上缩短至15分钟。
无人机接驳结合JoyExpress快递员送货上门的“人机协同”模式。
京东物流无人机相关负责人在文中表示“传统车辆运输行驶距离长，加之中东地区的高温天气，对于快递员而言颇有挑战，通过京东物流无人机进行‘最后一公里’的货物接驳运输，不仅为我们的快递员减轻了负担，也大大提升了运输效率。”
后续，京东物流将持续推进无人机海外服务能力建设，助力海外“最后一公里”配送。目前，京东物流无人技术已规模化应用，其“飞狼”无人机常态化测试运营线路达数十条
同时，公司计划未来5年采购300万台机器人、100万台无人车和10万架无人机，全面布局物流供应链全链路，无人机、无人车等前沿设备也已相继落地海外，为海外供应链服务提供科技支撑。
