Tristate Holdings (HKG:0458) said it terminated its license agreement with Reebok owner Authentic Brands Group for the greater China region, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Monday.
The firm had been considering implementing adjustments to its Reebok business strategy in China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan to support the group's long-term growth.
Following a review, the firm said it was terminating the agreement early and will no longer distribute Reebok-branded products after Dec. 31.
The cancellation will yield a non-cash gain of HK$120 million to HK$130 million for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025, Tristate said.
