Bannerman Energy (ASX:BMN) said State Street and its subsidiaries acquired around 10.5 million of its securities, representing a 5.04% stake in the firm, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The units included State Street Bank and Trust, SSGA Funds Management, and State Street Global Advisors, Australia.
Its shares fell over 3% in recent trading on Monday.
