目前尚不清楚美国政府的哪个部门采取了行动，以及具体目标是什么。特朗普此前曾表示，他已授权中情局在委内瑞拉开展秘密行动。上周在一次电台节目中，特朗普曾含糊提及美国对委内瑞拉某个“大型设施”的行动。美国中央情报局、白宫和五角大楼没有对这些言论作出进一步说明，并拒绝回应路透的提问。委内瑞拉政府也未对特朗普所描述的事件发表评论，且没有来自委内瑞拉的独立报导。美国政府此前曾强调其在打击涉嫌贩毒船只方面的成功，五角大楼还在社交媒体上发布过多次打击行动的画面。美国国家安全机构未作回应，引发外界质疑特朗普所提事件或许为秘密行动。这类行动通常会限制美方官员公开谈论。(完)
