Shares of Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) and Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) fell around 2% and 1% respectively in the recent Wednesday trade, following a volatile session in global silver markets that saw the metal rebound sharply after its steepest one-day drop in more than five years.
Spot silver rose 5.8% to $76.35 an ounce.
