Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) said it has resolved to change its financial year end from June 30 to Dec. 31 to better align its Chilean financial reporting obligations, including timing of the year-end financial audit with its Chilean exploration activities, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Andean Silver said it will have a six-month transitional financial year beginning on July 1 and ending Dec. 31, and thereafter, from Jan 1, 2026, it will revert to a 12-month financial year, starting on Jan. 1 and ending Dec. 31.

After the change, the company is expected to lodge an annual financial report by March 31, 2026, and hold an annual general meeting by May 31, 2026.
