Shares of Anghami climbed after the company's revenue nearly doubled in the first half of 2025, boosted by subscriber growth.
The stock rose 46.5% to $3.40 on Tuesday in after-hours trading. Through market close, shares were down 72% this year.
The music and entertainment streaming company said revenue surged 97% to $48.4 million in the six months ending June 30, driven by higher subscription sales.
The company's paid subscriber base nearly doubled to 3.54 million as of June 30. Registered users totaled more than 120 million.
Profitability was dented though by increased investments to support subscriber acquisition and other integration costs, resulting in a loss of $37.1 million, the company said.
The management team is taking steps to adjust its cost base going forward, and expects its topline growth to continue in the second half of the year, the company said.
