** Shares of ad-tech firm Trade Desk TTD.O, down ~68% this year, set to end 2025 as the worst performing stock in the S&P 500 index .SPX

** Stock poised for worst annual performance since going public in September 2016

** Resignation of the CFO in August along with a sharp slowdown in revenue growth, severely rattled investor confidence, triggering a ~39% sell-off

** Stock has suffered from growing fears that Amazon's AMZN.O expanding ad-tech ecosystem is rapidly grabbing market share from independent platforms

** Avg analyst rating on the stock is "Buy", with a media PT of $60

** Despite slump in stock, it trades at ~19 times 12-month forward profit expectations, higher than ~9 for Taboola TBLA.O and -16 for PubMatic PUBM.O

** Meanwhile, TBLA up ~24%, PUBM down ~39%, so far this year
