China Reinsurance (HKG:1508) appointed executive director Zhu Xiaoyun as its vice chairlady effective Friday, as well as its new president, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the reinsurer were up over 5% in Friday afternoon trading.
Zhu's appointment as president will take effect following regulatory approvals.
From Dec. 31, Zhu will act as the provisional person-in-charge, assuming the duties of president, succeeding Zhuang Qianzhi.
