Zhongman Petroleum and Natural Gas (SHA:603619), through its Iraqi branch, signed a contract with Xinhuaxia International Energy Development to provide services for the development of the Iraq Middle Euphrates Oil Block, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
The Chinese oil and gas company fell less than 2% during Friday's midday trade.
The parties will conduct geological and reservoir research and other services for the oil block.
