Coronado Global Resources Reports Fatal Incident at Queensland Mine

Coronado Global Resources (ASX:CRN) said a fatal incident occurred on Jan. 2 at its Mammoth Underground Mine near Blackwater, Queensland, resulting in the death of a worker, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company is working with the contracted mine operator, Mammoth Underground Mine Management, while authorities conduct their investigation into the incident, per the filing.

Operations at the underground mine remain halted, while the company's open-cut mines at Curragh North and South were paused for 24 hours and have since gradually returned to normal operations, the filing added.
