Ascent Bridge Agrees to Extend Loan Repayment Date; Shares Plunge Nearly 13%

Ascent Bridge (SGX:AWG) agreed to extend the loan repayment date to Capital Impetus by a further six months, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the beverage alcohol distributor sunk nearly 13% in Monday trading.

Under the revised payment schedule, Capital Impetus is required to make the first tranche of repayment of SG$1.4 million by June 30 and the second tranche of SG$1.4 million by Dec. 31.

To date, Capital Impetus has made a partial payment of around SG$74,450, the filing said.
