LinQ Minerals (ASX:LNQ) said reverse circulation drilling holes were completed at the Dam epithermal and porphyry system, part of the Gilmore copper-gold project in New South Wales, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The program encountered an intercept of 144 meters at 1 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold-equivalent from 84 meters, the filing said. Three of the four holes were extended with diamond core tails to test the target and provide samples for metallurgical test work.
The firm is awaiting results from three of the remaining Dam drill holes, per the filing.
LinQ Minerals' shares jumped over 38% in recent trading on Thursday and earlier reached an all-time high.
