ChainCatcher 消息，巴西总统候选人、政党 Missão（使命党）创始人 Renan Santos 近日在播客节目中表示，巴西应考虑建立国家级比特币储备，并称该提议 “在现实中是可行的”。他指出，部分国家已开始探索类似做法，巴西也可以逐步构建比特币储备体系。
Renan Santos 表示，其竞选纲领中已纳入与比特币相关的内容，并认为区块链技术可作为公共部门提升透明度、打击腐败的工具。此前，巴西国会已就战略性比特币储备议题举行过公开听证会，相关讨论由亲加密立法者提出。巴西总统选举将于今年 10 月举行。
