Shares of Insurance Australia Group Fall After Intermediated Insurance Unit Partners With Rural Charity

Shares of Insurance Australia Group (ASX:IAG) fell 2% in recent Thursday trade after WFI Insurance partnered with Rural Aid, according to a Thursday statement by the company.

Under the deal, WFI will support Rural Aid's work in providing relief efforts for farming and rural communities before, during, and after disasters, the statement said.

WFI had earlier donated AU$250,000 to Rural Aid for farmers impacted by catastrophic flooding in Western Queensland, the statement added.
